New Build
The client for this project wanted a single storey dwelling in the paddock behind their 18th century house. The rural location for the building informed the aesthetic, and the ambition for the design was for the building to read as agricultural when viewed from the fields beyond.
The living spaces are divided by generous double doors that when open sit snugly into recesses and allow for free flow of space.
There is an element of play introduced through changing ceiling heights in different rooms, giving each space a distinctive character.
